Last updated August 2026.

This page explains what Finan Digital collects from visitors to finandigital.co.uk, why, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@finandigital.co.uk and I'll answer directly.

Who this is

This site is run by Adam Finan, an independent Amazon PPC specialist based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. I'm the person who reads any email sent through the contact form, and the only person with access to the analytics data described below.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which articles get read and where visitors come from — nothing more. It does not run unless you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your answer at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

If you accept, Google Analytics may set cookies to collect:

  • Pages viewed and time spent on them
  • Approximate location, derived from your IP address (city/country level; the precise address is not stored)
  • Device, browser and screen size
  • The site or search engine that referred you here

This data is aggregated and I don't use it to identify individual visitors. It's processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy, which may involve transferring data outside the UK under Google's standard safeguards, and is deleted automatically after 14 months.

If you reject cookies, no Analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google.

The contact form

The contact form doesn't submit to a server. When you press send, it opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to hello@finandigital.co.uk. I only receive what you choose to send, through your own email provider — not through this website. I use it solely to reply to your enquiry, and keep the resulting email thread for as long as is useful for that.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which — like virtually any web host — automatically logs standard technical data for every request (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability. I don't access this beyond troubleshooting. Vercel's own privacy policy covers how they handle it.

Legal basis

Analytics cookies run on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see above). Basic hosting logs are processed under legitimate interest — keeping the site secure and working.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:

  • tell you what data I hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • restrict or object to how it's used
  • provide a copy in a portable format

Email hello@finandigital.co.uk for any of these. You can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though I'd appreciate the chance to sort it out directly first.

Children

This site is a professional resource for Amazon sellers and isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
